Shaky start when the first table arrived damaged, but the replacement was fine, thankfully.
Followed other reviewers advice and didn’t tighten the bolts until they were all in place. ( My husband actually looked at the diagrams and assembled it in about five minutes!)
It is very heavy and awkward to lift alone once assembled, so you’d need two.
Once up it’s quite compact for a round table which is what I wanted (they can actually take up quite a bit of room) . I already had the Eames style chairs , and these tuck nicely between the legs, again making it more space saving.
The middle section opens easily to extend the table, and I’m sure at a push you could seat 8, but definitely 6 comfortably.
I’ve bought a table cloth to protect it, as other reviewers say it’s easily scratched..
Again, as others have said the legs are metal, not oak, but they look the part.
The only niggle is that you get notification of delivery the day before, and you only have until 12.00 to respond if that date is not acceptable . But the delivery guy (especially the second time) was really helpful , and they allow you to track the delivery, and give you a three hour time slot.
Would definitely recommend.
The video I attached makes it look harder than it is because I was trying to do it with one hand!
