Bedroom number 2 is finally complete, inspired by my favourite place Cornwall. I wanted this room to be really calming and I think we hit the brief 💓

The slats are curved and are held in place by plastic clips in the centre, but the position of one end of the slats isn't secured in place and they slide around. The horizontal beam wasn't long enough to secure into the frame of the bed so it is just attached to the centre beam, also had to tape the head of the screw so it didn't rip up my mattress.
Also instructions would show you, but when attaching the wings to the headboard there is a velcro panel on the headboard which is where you'll find the holes to attach the two pieces.
When testing out the bed the curvature of the stats has caused the mattress to bow so you roll off to the side, I can feel the slats shifting position and sliding around and one of the slats has popped out of position.
Bed looks lovely with great details but I'm cautious as I don't feel it's too structurally secure, but I will have to make modifications to secure the slats better and will source a longer piece of wood for the centre.
